Alfonso Kimche and Vladimir Shneyder have both been active real estate professionals based in New York City since the early 1990’s. In 2006, the two of them partnered to establish North Hill Capital Management (NHCM) as a direct private real estate lender. NHCM was initially capitalized by a joint venture with a hedge fund operating under the Goldman Sachs Asset Management umbrella and currently partners with Arena Investors LP. NHCM has originated approximately $200m of debt since inception.

Separate from NHCM, Messrs. Kimche and Shneyder have been active principals, performing the role of developer, investor and operator for a variety of real estate projects. Their breadth of experience includes ground up multifamily and single-family development, adaptive reuse of existing commercial buildings to residential condominiums and rentals, and ownership and management of both commercial office buildings and apartments. Messrs. Kimche and Shneyder take a hands-on approach, with a focus on every detail from the structuring of the capital stack to the selection of finishes for every unit.

Alfonso Kimche

Mr. Kimche has been involved in the acquisition and development of a variety of property types including residential single family, multi-family, mid-rise condominium, industrial and office. Mr. Kimche began his career as a financial analyst with Oppenheimer & Co. in its real estate investment banking group and has a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Tufts University. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Real Estate Division of the UJA-Federation of New York and was the recipient of its Larry A. Silverstein Award in 2013.

Vladimir Shneyder

Mr. Shneyder has a diverse background encompassing several disciplines throughout the real estate industry. He has worked for large companies and pursued entrepreneurial development deals. Earlier in his career, Mr Shneyder was the portfolio manager for the Commercial Real Estate Division of Daimler Chrysler Capital Services (debis), where he originated and managed a portfolio of bridge loans worth over $500m. Mr. Shneyder began his career with the North American Operations of KUMAGAI GUMI CO., LTD (KG Land NY Corporation) as an asset manager for a major international real estate development and construction company. Mr. Shneyder has a Masters Degree in Real Estate Finance from Monmouth University. He is a member of the Real Estate Council of the UJA-Federation of New York
